The Maryland Army National Guard’s 70th Regiment (LDR) Officer Candidate School hosted a commissioning ceremony for class 51 and 52 (Accelerated) Sept. 25 at Camp Fetterd Military Reservation near Reisterstown.
Eight MDARNG Soldiers graduated from the traditional OCS program which began in May 2009 and included almost a year and a half of intense training during drill weekends. Two additional Soldiers attended the accelerated OCS program which ran approximately eight weeks through August and September starting at Camp Fretterd and finishing at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa.
